Facebook

Facebook was founded in February 4, 2004 by Mark Zuckerburg. Facebook was originally designed to be a meeting place for Harvard university students. However, after a couple of months, it began to expand to other Ivy League schools such as Yale and Columbia. Facebook has revolutionized the way people interact with one another. It is an exemplary example for the idea of Web 2.0. Using Facebook has many advantages: it can be used like email, an individual is able to connect with people outside his/her community, it is also a good source of feedback on products, and lasty, Facebook has thousands of applications that can be used to enhance one's user experience. Although Facebook has many positive consequences, there are also negative consequences as well. These can include : identity can be seen on the internet, wall posts and other personal information can stay online even when it is deleted, and employers can investigate your Facebook page to see what type of person you are.

Therefore, people should use Facebook with caution as it can have both positive and negative results.
